Heads up, coffee lovers!
Dollar General has issued a nationwide recall for certain Clover Valley Instant Coffee products after it was found they might contain glass fragments. The recall affects three lots of the 8-ounce jars sold in stores across the country (except Alaska and Hawaii) between July 9 and July 21.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the issue came to light when a customer alerted store employees. Thankfully, no injuries or illnesses have been reported so far. Still, the FDA warns that swallowing glass could cause serious harm, including cuts in the mouth and throat, tooth damage, or even internal injury.
If you have this coffee at home, check the lot numbers:

- L-5164 – Best By 12/13/2026

If your coffee matches any of these codes, stop using it immediately and follow Dollar General’s recall instructions.
