Just like we’ve been saying all along — Christmas WILL penny on 02/03, even though there are still naysayers claiming otherwise. We’ve seen this pattern year after year, and everything lining up right now points to the same outcome. While some are still insisting it won’t happen, the system activity, past timelines, and current markdown behavior all tell a different story. As always, penny items are store-dependent, but make no mistake — Christmas is expected to hit $0.01 on February 3rd, exactly as predicted.

HUGE Toy Penny Addition

Here’s where things get exciting.

We are seeing a large wave of toys being added to the penny list, not just holiday-themed toys — but regular toy inventory that is being removed from the system.

This includes:

• Older toy sets

• Discontinued or reset items
• Toys that survived previous clearance rounds

These are NOT toys that were already pennying — this is a new, expanded toy list, and it’s much bigger than normal.
