This delightful twist on the classic charcuterie board combines traditional savory meats and cheeses with a touch of whimsy and magic. It's the perfect addition to any holiday party or gathering, whether you're hosting friends at home or bringing a dish to a potluck.

But what exactly is a snow globe charcuterie snack? Simply put, it's a creative and playful take on the popular charcuterie board that resembles a miniature winter wonderland scene inside a clear glass bowl or jar. The board typically features an assortment of cured meats, cheeses, crackers, fruits, nuts, and other snacks arranged in layers to look like falling snowflakes or trees covered in snow.

Not only does this snack offer an impressive visual presentation that will have your guests snapping pictures for their Instagram feed, but it also allows for endless customization options based on personal preferences and dietary restrictions.

Traditionally made with meats such as prosciutto, salami, and pepperoni paired with various types of cheese such as brie, gouda, cheddar, or blue cheese – this snack can easily be adapted for vegetarians by using alternative protein sources like roasted vegetables or plant-based.

The advantage of this appetizer is that everyone gets their own portion and can move around with it. This is very convenient if your party is in buffet format. In addition, nothing will spoil or get weathered. So you can prepare snow globes in advance and store them in the refrigerator. For the recipe you will need deli meats, cheeses with rich flavor, dried fruits, nuts, chocolate and salty or neutral crackers. For the packaging, we used a dome-shaped disposable cake mold. these molds are sold in stores for pastry chefs.

Ingredients for 3 servings:

21 slices of salami

1 ounce of cheese

1 ounce dorblu cheese

9 mini mozzarellas

3 chocolate Christmas figurines

3 rosemary sprigs

3 dried apricots

1 tbsp. cream cheese

1 tsp. chopped nuts

3 tangerine slices

some cranberries

3 large-diameter bagels

21 small crackers

3 mini chili peppers

1 tbsp. coconut shavings and a little honey or syrup

Instructions

1- Slice hard cheese and cut out snowflakes or stars with cookie cutters. Thread mozzarella onto toothpicks. This is a snowman.

2. Fold each round of salami in half. Join the halves in pairs. Wrap the heart halves around the core in the shape of a rose. Press firmly.

3. Cut dried apricots in half, not all the way through. Fill with cream cheese and sprinkle with nuts.

4. Assemble snow globes. You must securely fasten everything so that the appetizer will hold tightly. Place the bagel first. In it, place a salami rose, crackers and a rosemary branch. Place the dried apricot appetizer on the outside.

5. Brush the domes on top with honey and sprinkle with coconut snow shavings

6. Place a mozzarella snowman in each piece of brie cheese. Place the design on the bottom of the balloon. Arrange the remaining ingredients. sprinkle with coconut shavings to create a festive atmosphere.

Cover the appetizer with the dome and serve.
