Lymph massage cream is a specialized type of cream that is specifically designed for lymphatic drainage massage. This type of massage involves applying gentle pressure and strokes on the skin to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid, which helps in detoxification and improved circulation.
The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in our body's immune system by carrying away waste products, bacteria, viruses, and other toxins from the tissues. However, due to factors such as poor diet, lack of exercise, stress or illness, the lymph nodes can become congested and unable to efficiently eliminate these toxins. This can lead to symptoms such as water retention, fatigue, bloating and weakened immunity.
Lymph massage cream contains ingredients that help to increase blood flow and promote the drainage of excess fluids from the body's tissues. It also helps to improve oxygenation and nutrient supply to cells while reducing inflammation and swelling.

Notes:
• You can add essential oils if you want. Some good ones for the lymph nodes are geranium, grapefruit, lavender, and ginger.
• Ginger root works great for the infused oil, I just ran out and used ginger root powder.
• Any carrier oil works, I used avocado oil.
• If you are using ginger root, you may want to strain with a coffee filter.
Here are some specific benefits of using lymph massage cream:
1. Improved Circulation: One of the main benefits of using lymph massage cream is its ability to improve circulation. During a lymphatic massage, gentle pressure is applied to targeted areas of the body to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid. When combined with the nourishing ingredients found in most lymph massage creams, this can help to increase blood flow throughout the body. Improved circulation means better delivery of oxygen and nutrients to cells, which can aid in healing and support overall health.
2. Detoxification: As mentioned earlier, the primary function of the lymphatic system is to remove waste and toxins from our bodies. Lymph massage creams contain ingredients such as essential oils or herbal extracts that have detoxifying properties. These ingredients work together with the massaging action to help release built-up toxins from tissues and flush them out through our natural elimination processes.
3. Reduces Inflammation: Another benefit of using lymph massage cream is its anti-inflammatory properties. Many people struggle with chronic inflammation due to various reasons such as injury or illness, which can lead to discomfort and pain in affected areas. The gentle movements used during a lymphatic massage combined with soothing ingredients found in these creams can help reduce inflammation by promoting healthy blood flow.
4. Supports Immune Health: Our immune system relies heavily on proper functioning of the lymphatic system since it helps filter out harmful substances from entering our bodies through tissues like skin or mucous membranes. By promoting lymphatic drainage, using lymph massage cream can help boost our immune system's ability to fight off infections and illnesses.
5. Nourishes the Skin: Most lymph massage creams are made with nourishing ingredients that offer added benefits for the skin. These creams often contain antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that help improve skin's texture, tone, and appearance. The massaging action also helps to increase blood flow to the skin, delivering these beneficial nutrients while removing dead skin cells and promoting cell turnover.
Incorporating lymph massage cream into your regular lymphatic massages can provide a range of benefits such as improved circulation, detoxification, reduced inflammation, immune support, and healthier skin. So next time you schedule a lymphatic massage session, don't forget to ask for a cream or choose one that suits your needs best for an enhanced experience!
