Pennywise’ Charcuterie

Ingredients

  • 1 round of brie cheese with white crust
  • 12-15 crackers
  • 4 oz. salami
  • 3 ½ smoked bacon
  • 7-8 pretzel sticks
  • 4-5 slices gouda cheese
  • 1/2 cup almonds and hazelnuts
  • 1 cup black berries blueberries and grapes
  • bell peppers olives, dill for garnish
  • 2 sugar eyes

Method

  1. Let’s start with the centerpiece, Pennywise. Cut a few slices of salami into rectangles and place them in place of the clown’s hair. Cut off a small tip from a bell pepper to make a nose. For the mouth, take the opposite edge of the pepper. Cut circles from olives and use sugar eyes for pupils.
  2. Cheese ghosts can be made even if you don’t have a special cutter. A simple heart will do. Cut out the heart and divide it into 2 parts. Use a straw to make the eyes and mouth.
  3. Wrap the bone – stick pretzels with bacon. it turned out awful and delicious.
  4. Place Pennywise in the center. Form the salami into a jabot collar. Paint the clown’s makeup with food coloring. Roll the remaining salami into a roll and place in the top corner. Place the cheese ghosts on top of the salami. Arrange the pretzels with the bacon.
  5. Arrange berries, nuts and crackers. Decorate with dill and serve the board to the table.
  6. Arrange disposable forks or skewers around so everyone can pick out treats to their liking.
