Maryland Cream Of Crab Soup

Ingredients
  

  • Old Bay to your taste about 1 1/2t
  • Black Pepper; pinch to your taste 1/2t
  • Parsley chopped to your taste
  • Little Dab of Worcestershire Sauce again to your tasting
  • Lump Crab Meat
  • Crab Meat your preference, I use the middle grade crab meat, or special they call it available in the seafood section
  • Evaporated Milk 3 Cans
  • Cream of Celery Soup 3 Cans
  • 1 stick of salted butter

Equipment

  • A crockpot

Method
 

  1. Add the cream of celery soup, evaporated milk, special crab meat, a stick of butter, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce to your crockpot.
  2. Season with Old Bay and parsley to taste, adjusting as you prefer for flavor.
  3. Put the lid on the crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours.
  4. Stir occasionally to ensure the soup doesn’t get lumpy or curdle during cooking.
  5. When ready to serve, ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with a sprinkle of parsley, Old Bay, and a little pepper.
  6. Top each serving with fresh lumps of crab meat for a flavorful and elegant presentation.
