Ingredients In Cookies and Cream Milkshake Cookies
Ingredients;
2+½ cup/ 330g flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1+1/4 stick/ 150g unsalted butter
2 eggs
10-12 Oreos, chopped
1 cup + 1/4 cups/ 240 g sugar
How To Make Cookies and Cream Milkshake Cookies
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is preheating, make your cookie dough by creaming your butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Once the butter and sugar are creamed, scrape the sides of your bowl, add the eggs and beat again until mixed.
After scraping the sides of the bowl, mix in the flour and baking powder and mix well. Add the crushed Oreos and mix for about five seconds, but don't overmix the cookies. You don't want to smash them up.
The dough should be scooped out and rolled into a ball. Place the ball on a cookie sheet and flatten with your hands. The cookies won't change in size too much during baking, so keep them the same size as you would like them. Place 6 cookies per sheet with the rest of the dough.
The cookies should be baked at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes, or until they don't still look wet in the center. Don't let the cookies brown, if they do, they are over baked. Over baked cookies are crunchy and dry.
As the cookies are large, cooling them on a cookie sheet will allow the insides of the cookie to finish baking without overbaking the whole cookie.
Be careful not to overmix the frosting and turn it gray. I learned from Steel Magnolias that gray icing is unattractive.
Crumbl Milk and Cream Oreo Cookies RECIPE
Instructions;
• Preheat oven to 350F/175C.
• Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
• In a medium bowl, beat butter, sugar until creamy. I use my stand mixer as it is my go to mixer for baking. I use the paddle attachment as it mixes these well.
• Add eggs gradually.
• Add dry ingredients and do not over-mix.
• Add chopped oreos and using a cookie scoop, form cookie balls.
• Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are light brown.
• Make the creme chantilly, whisking cream with powder sugar.
• Top cooled cookies with creme chantilly and oreos (fine crumbs) You can even use a piping bag to make the cookies look professional and cute. I sometimes garnish the cookie with mini oreo right in the center of the cookie
There are a few ways you can modify this recipe to make it your own. If you want a more intense Oreo flavor, you can use double the amount of Oreo crumbs called for in the recipe. You can also add in a teaspoon or two of instant coffee granules to the milk and cream mixture to give the cookies a mocha flavor.
There's nothing like a Crumbl milk and cream Oreo cookie! These cookies are soft, chewy, and full of flavor. They're perfect for any occasion, and they're so easy to make at home.
These are a sweet treat that you will never find at the grocery store. There are a lot of people who think the rich frosting on these cookies is a cream cheese frosting, you can choose to share the secret with them or you can let them know you have an official copycat Crumbl oreo cookies. These cream cookies is by far my favorite cookie at Crumbl. In store these are very HUGE cookies, but you can make smaller cookies.
If you're looking for a crunchier cookie, you can add in up to 1/2 cup of chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the dough before baking. And if you want to get really creative, you can try using different flavors of Oreos in place of the traditional ones called for in the recipe. Some fun options include mint, strawberry, or golden Oreos.
You can store these cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh and soft.
This Crumbl copycat recipe is definitely the best copycat Crumbl cookies recipes that I came up with so I did a little test. I put my cookie and a Crumbl cookie side-by-side and you really could not see a difference except that I put the mini oreo cookie on top of the cookie. These cookie treats can be made at home with simple ingredients that turn our just like the
original recipe straight from the Crumbl bakery that will satisfy any Oreo lovers craving for the real thing. Have you tried this recipe? Tell us what you think!
